Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Financing Farmers LLC collects, uses, and protects your information when you use FinancingFarmers.com.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: your email address.
- Profile information: a display name and theme preference.
- Listings: details you submit about equipment for sale, including location (town and state/province).
- Messages: the content of conversations you exchange with other users.
- Usage data: basic technical information such as your browser type, needed to operate and secure the Service.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate you with one-time email verification codes.
- To display your listings and facilitate messaging between buyers and sellers.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. Certain information is visible to other users by design—for example, your display name and the location on your listings. We may share information with service providers (such as our email delivery provider) strictly to operate the Service, or when required by law.
4. One-Time Codes
We use one-time, six-digit codes sent to your email to verify sign-in and email changes. These codes expire after a short period and are not a substitute for keeping your email account secure.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
6. Your Choices
You may update your display name, theme, and email address at any time in your account settings. You can request a complete export of the data we store about you at financingfarmers.com/data-request — it is emailed to your account address automatically. You can delete your account from your settings page; deletion removes your listings, conversations, and profile data, retaining only your permanent public member ID.
7. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
